I moved from IE7 to Ie8 and now I get the "addons disabled" and cant get
into many sites including microsoft updates. All worked fine in IE6 & 7.

Anyone knows how to fix this?

Thanks,

Reset IE on internet options/advanced. The problem you get can happen when
you have too many non-compatible add-ons installed. This action will
remove all add-ons, among other things. Read the warning text carefully!

Uninstall Google Toolbar & reboot. Assuming all is well, install Google
Toolbar 6.
