IE8, Compat View made google SMALL

Hello guys i just downloaded IE8 and there is that new compat. view option.

Well i went into google and thought i would try it out. I clicked on compat
view and the search field in good became extra extra small.

I went into the compat. view settings and taken out google out of the compat
view list.....the search field is still extra small....omg how do i fix this??

Another poster solved this problem by deleting a font...
