IE 8 - had to remove it - it disrupted my web site

On 4-28-09 I installed IE 8 on 2 computers, I had to immediately uninstall it
on both. After installation it caused my web site, which normally runs very
fast, to load very sluggishly. It also would not allow the media viewer
links to finish loading and display the images. Everything works fine in both
IE7 & Firefox 3.1.9.
