Microsoft Windows Message re IE stopped working
While browsing with IE8 the message "Internet Explorer has stopped working-
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close
the program and notify you if a solution is available."
There is a close button to select to make it go away. However IE8 does not
stop but continues without apparent interuption. This message is annoying.

I have disabled the add ons one at a time and it still produces the message.
How can I get rid of the message w/o resorting to returning to IE7?

Re: Microsoft Windows Message re IE stopped working
Please state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; Vista SP1) when
posting to this newsgroup. (Your headers suggest Vista SP1.)

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed, is your
subscription current, and is it /supported/ in IE8? What anti-spyware
applications (other than Defender)? What third-party firewall (if any)?
Were any of these applications running in the background when you installed
IE8?

Has a Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on this machine
(e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled when you bought it)?
