XP64 Default IE version

I'm running XP-64 SP2 on my system and that comes with two versions of IE7
x64 and x32.

There is no Flash player for the 64 bit version so I normally use the 32 bit
version when I open IE from the desktop, unfortunately if I click on a link,
for example in an email, that defaults to using the x64 version of IE.

Is there an easy way of changing this default?

As your Mail Client is also a 64-bit application, links will open in IE x64
by default. So the answer to your question is NO.

Where did you get SP2 for WinXP Pro x64??
