Code: 0xc0000005 errors all of a sudden

In the last few days I have been getting fairly regular IE7 errors. Details
show Code: 0xc0000005 usually. All you can do is cancel out of Error
Reporting and it closes IE. Nothign new installed previous to this new
occurrence. How can I begin to troubleshoot it? Many thnaks!

Took three tries to get this posted but it finally worked. LAst time it
threw a C++ Run time error associated with iexplorer.

I had the same problem after downloading IE8, kept getting error messages.
I had to download IE8 3 times in order to correct the problem. At least it
appears that's what fixed it. I still get an error box once in a while when
I try to connect to Yahoo, but that's the only one. I also found by
deleting old Icons and making new ones helped too.
