IE no longer plays videos within the Browser anymore

Its to bad that I can post a screen snapshot here to see but at one time when
you went to a website with video link or click to play a video IE would play
that video right in the browser now if you click open media player opens and
plays the clip what ever happened to allowing it to play directly in the
browser itself ?
