FYI IE8 breaks MS Fingerprint Reader
Windows Version 5.1 (Build 2600.xpsp_sp3_gdr.080814-1236 : Service Pack 3)
Internet Explorer Version: 8.0.6001.18702
DigitalPersona Version 2.0.1.1843

FYI. After installing IE 8, MS Fingerprint reader's One Touch, Quick Links
no longer function properly. Instead of opening the desired website and
entering the credentials, the browser opens a reference to a local file on
the HD:
res://c:\program%20files\digitalpersona\bin\dpotssht.dll/qlinkload.htm#id=26.

Probably has something to do with the new feature LCIE.

The fingerprint reader itself still works as expected but no more Quick
Links. Just FYI.

RE: FYI IE8 breaks MS Fingerprint Reader
Not that this helps you, but I'm using IE 8 with an MS fingerprint reader,
and it's working.
