I've noted that favicons come and go and from what I've read, this same
issue may have been in IE7 (not sure, I just started using IE again when IE8
came out. I was using Avant which also has favicon issues and Firefox which
displays them properly). I see a row of boring e's across the tabs on IE8
and when I do see the correct favicons, that doesn't mean that later they
will be gone and return to the e's again. Also, there are favicons which
are at times attempted to be displayed (ex
www.jobcentral.com) but are
rendered incorrectly. Again, other browsers such as Firefox show these
correctly.
Does anyone know if there is a fix for this or one planned?
