RE: Reopen Last Browsing Session does not retain the tabs order
Installed ie8 under Vista Ultimate 64 and worked for a half a day. Ie8 worked
ok and seemed stable and I would stay with it, but there were issues with
functionality:
1 Tabs after restoration of Last Browsing Session were not in the same order
they were before closing the Last Browsing Session.
2 Links were opened in a new tab at the end of all tabs - rather
inconvenient if there are already a dozen or more tabs.
Both changes were deviations from ie7. Restoration of the Last Browsing
Session was also less convenient than in ie7. ie8 can copy tabs now and this
is welcome and needed feature, but again the copied tab appears at the end of
existing tabs. All new tabs should be created immediately to the right of the
current tab on which the operation is requested. Creation at the end of the
tabs could be kept as an option or excluded altogether.
Because of pp 1-2 had to reinstall ie7.
