IE8 webpage error: No such interface supported.

The following error appears in IE8 on one of my database interface pages -
the same page works fine in IE7, FireFox and Google Chrome. I can provide
more details and the entire code of the page if MS engineers are willing to
look at it and fix. This makes IE8 pretty much unusable for me.

I just seen the same error right here, when trying to post a new message to
this group while using IE8. My machine is Vista x64 Ultimate SP1 with all
the patches from Windows Update.
