Using IE and Vista

Hi. I am not sure which topic I should be using but a client is having
trouble importing pictures into a website which was created for him. Also,
when he receives a URL link in an e-mail, he can no longer click on the link.
Nothing happens in both cases (trying to import a picture to his website or
click on a URL in an e-mail). He is using Vista as his O/S and IE as his
browser, but I am not sure what version of IE, or if that matters. I thought
the problem might be with his security settings but now am not sure.

Any suggestions as to why he could perform both of the above actions
previously but now now? He says there have not been any changes to his s/w.

All help/suggestions are greatly appreciated.
