Accessing web space in a single click using ftp://login:password@mywebsite.com/
In previous versions of I/Explorer it was possible to open a web page, in
ftp without typing in login & pass and simply include these in the URL e.g.:

ftp://loginassword@mywebsite.com/

It made accessing your web space (with one single click) as easy as using a
folder on your computer

IE7 doesn't seem to support this - or does it? - or is there a single-click
alternative to accessing web space?

Re: Accessing web space in a single click using ftp://login:password@mywebsite.com/
Hi,
Windows XP ... you could have said ;-)
Go to My Network Places> Add Network Place. Follow the wizard to add the FTP
site. The URL format
ftp://usernameassword@domain.com should work.

If Network Places isn't on the desktop... Display Properties> Desktop>
Customize> check it.

Vista:
In Vista it's a Network Location. To setup your FTP site...
Open My Computer. Right-click in the My Computer window. Select "Add a
Network location." Work through the wizard. The URL format
ftp://usernameassword@domain.com should work.

Hope this helps,
Don
