thanx for ur answer. he pinged both verizonwhich was fine, and ie which was
not. additionally, it cannot be 'removed' since not given the option
because, he says, it is corrupted. i could do absolutely nothing. i had
restored to a previous date, but would not give me back ie6. and, as i said,
i can't remove it. appreciate ur help.
