Hi Wolfie,
http://www.netflix.com/FAQ?faqtrkid=...RM&srch=Search
Q:Why am I being asked to upgrade a Windows Media Player component to
instantly watch a movie on my PC?
A:The deal is that the Netflix Movie Viewer uses Microsoft DRM (Digital
Rights Management) software, which means that sometimes you’ll need to
upgrade Microsoft Windows Media Player to drive your Netflix Movie Viewer.
If your player needs updating, you’ll see a dialog box asking you to
download and install the needed item. Click Upgrade when you see this
message and click Close once you see the message that it has upgraded
successfully. You will usually only need to do this once; the first time you
start a movie.

Can you please post back with the exact web address where this occurs for us
to try first.
Also your OS version and Service Pack level.
Regards.
