IE 7 and IE8 beta

I started having a problem with IE7 when I click to surf as usual all I get
is a stupid shortcut to Internet Explorer. No matter how many times I click
the Icon I get another shortcut on my desk top. I can fill an entire desktop
with Icons of the (worthless) IE logo. Great huh? Thank GOD for Firefox or I
couldn't be asking this question. HOW do I FIX this!!

Thank GOD for updated anti-malware software.
