Organizing Favorites

Windows Vista, IE7

I just reorganized my favorites adding folders and moving things to them,
when I was finished and went to see how it looked about half of my favorites
have just disappeared. Any idea where they went or how to go back to before
I did anything?

If you were doing drag and drop with the mouse, it's very easy to
accidentally drop icons and folders into other existing folders.
Have you looked for your lost stuff through all folders that were already
there ?
