ping: PA Bear

Hello Bear. . sent you a reply through the Google newsgroup. . hope i did it
right. .
My post was about losing all my restore points. . you called it when you
asked if the computer had any anti-virus program already installed on it
when i installed the Trend Micro program. . i uninstalled the free AVG
program and that took care of things. . except for the lost restore points.
.. but system restore has made new restore points since and computer is
running good. .so all's well. .
My other post, concerning adding new search engines to internet explorer.
.. when i try adding a new search engine, i get the message, "unable to add
search provider. The
Create Your Own tool requires Internet Explorer (32811). .and i have
Internet Explorer 7?? any thoughts on that?
