display issue

Have a win 2000 box, IE 5.1.
Everything runs fine but, some programs have no background color including
explorer.
Explorer also has the frames overlapping. Like the display size was wrong.
display settings are fine, driver is fine.
Games look fine.

Did you post using the machine in question?

Assuming you're running Win2K SP4, I think you'll get more joy on webpages
after installing IE6 SP1.

yes this is seems to mainly be an Internet Explorer question.

Hi,
Control Panel> Accessibility Options> Display. Make sure that High Contrast
is not checked.

You may want to click on Settings and uncheck Use Shortcut. That will
disable the Alt+Shift+Print Screen shortcut to High Contrast.
