IE windows is maxmized, but it doesn't fill the whole screen
I'm having an issue with IE. When I maximize the window it does not fill the
whole screen. There is about 3/4" of desktop background on the top of the
screen. It appears the whole window is shifted down 3/4". The status bar
on the bottom is no longer visible, it goes below the bottom of the screen.

The only thing that has changed on the computer since yesterday is a
Microsoft update that was installed to the system. Does anyone have any
suggestions?

Hi,
Look for "Run this REG file" at http://windowsxp.mvps.org/IEFAQ.htm#IEMax

That file is safe for IE6 or IE7 on XP or Vista. (You didn't say.)

Hope this helps,
Don

I suspect you were playing with the magnifier.
Press Win-U, turn it back on while the IE window
is maximized and then turn the magnifier off.
