cannot sign into hotmail

I am unable to sign into my hotmail account using IE 7 with Windows Vista
Home Premium sp1. I can sign into my account using my Maxthon 2 browser. I
read the help for signing in and made all of the settings they suggested and
I still cannot sign in using IE 7. I enter my usernanme and password and it
just sits there and does nothing.
