IE7-Unable to send email from online forms, etc

Since I upgraded to IE7 I can't send any emails from within the browser.

The "Send Link/Page by Email" doesn't work and any online form that I
complete and "Submit" does not go anywhere.

I don't get any error messages at all. It just doesn't happen!

I have MS Office 2007 w/SP1 and my OS is XP-Pro w/SP3.

Any help or ideas will be appreciated.

Does entering just mailto: do anything?

That can be a symptom after installing another E-mail client
such as Live Mail. The mailto: test I suggested above can
help show if that has happened but a better diagnostic would
be to go into a cmd window (aka Command Prompt)
and enter the following command pipeline:

ftype | find /i "mail"

There may be a repair procedure for your E-mail client.
(E.g. via Add/Remove Programs) A better place to ask for help
with this would be in an Office NG. Cross-posting to one for
convenience.
