problem with ssl cert

Hi all. I have a user who exports his ssl cert from his old pc to a file and
import into new pc. After he imported into his browser on the new pc, he is
unable to access the specific site that require ssl cert. Error is 403.7 ssl
client certification required. However if i use the same ssl cert that was
exported from his old pc into my pc, it works fine. Both of us are using IE7.
What could be the problem? The cert is definitely not the problem, should be
browser specific. Pls advise. THks in advance.

What are the three types of PC: the users's old one, his new one and your
new one? The OS may be treating the certs slightly differently. Are there
different versions of Windows on all three computers? Finally, what are the
details of the client certificate that he is exporting: some encryption
types may not be handled properly or even consistently by the Windows
encryption software or by IE?
