Internet Explorer 7-Cant tyoe anything in field

I downloaded IE7. I click in the field box etc to type a name for a searcha
nd nothing happens. It wont let me type anything. I have Mozilla installed
and it works fine. Any help

Make sure you've selected a Search Engine. IE7 should default to Google, but
maybe you d haven't made a selection.

Hi,
Start Internet Explorer without add-ons from:
Right-click the IE icon on the desktop. Choose Start without add-ons.
or
Programs> Accessories> System tools> Internet Explorer (no add-ons)
If the problem goes away, you have an incompatible browser add-on installed.
