problem with IE7

I'm having a problem with IE7, the problem being that it is holding all my
pages to their condition a week ago. I've had the same Yahoo home page for a
week, and the pages of several of my forums are seemingly locked to their
content at a set time about a week ago. I've dumped my TIF files and cookies,
but to no success. The problem is getting REALLY irritating...

Tools > Internet Options > General tab > Browsing history - Settings
button > Temporary Internet Files > 'Check for newer versions of stored
pages'

Do you have a dial-up connection? Is there a "web accelerator" installed?
