Email Address Not Accepted on Web Page Form

When I go to certain webpages my email address(es) is not accepted when I
enter the address to the form on the page however if I insert my daughter's
email address it is usually accepted.

My email address format is xxxxxxxxxx@optonline.net

I receive the message from explorer "email address supplied is not valid.
Please check that the email address matches the format user@example.com"

The problem lies with the web page and the way it's set up for email
addresses. It's not a problem with IE. IE is just giving the the message
that the web site has told it to do.

Contact the individual web sites to find out what is wrong with your email
address.

Their parser probably doesn't like one of the characters in your
username, the part you X'ed out, like probably a non-alphanumeric
character, that it begins with a number, or you inserted a space
character before, after, or inside the string.

The only person that can fix the e-mail parser script on that site is
the site's owner. Contact them.
