Storing Google Chrome Cookies for Gmail?

I use Google Chrome to open Gmail via the Google Notifier, but I use IE for
everything else. Even if I close Chrome completely, start IE (with no other
instances running), and open Google.com, it has me logged in. Not sure how or
why, but can something be done on the IE side to not store this Chrome cookie
for IE. Not sure if this is a Chrome or IE issue, but any help regarding this
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!

Sorry, how would installing Google's toolbar stop IE from remembering
(keeping my session from) my Chrome cookie? Thanks!

Hi,
Did you tick the "Remember me" box at Google or Gmail? Next time you leave
Google or Gmail, click the "Sign out" link to modify the IE cookie.
