IE 8 Beta issue

I have been using IE 8 Beta.

In the last few days, I have been unable to add any sites to my favorites.

I get an error stating "Internet Explorer has encountered an error and must
shut down".

Does anyone know the cause or a fix to this issue?

The fix is to remove it and wait for the finished product. IE8 Beta is meant
for testers and developers and has it's own newsgroup as well.

I was asked to load the Beta and make sure our website was working properly.

If I downgrade, will I lose all of the favorites, settings etc?

You shouldn't lose favorites, but since this is a beta program, export them
to the Desktop first so you have a backup.

I have not used IE8 and if you have any particular questions about it, refer
to the IE8B newsgroup.
