Hi,
Your message headers indicate Vista, right?
This problem usually results from corruption in the History folder.
Try, in order:
1. Clear the History and set "Days to keep history" to, at most, 20-30 days.
2. Clear the History, then use IEHistoryView- NirSoft:
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/iehv.html to remove any remaining data.
3. Clear your History with PurgeIE (15 day free trial)
http://www.purgeie.com/ This will also clear the index.dat file, a possible
contributer to this problem.

Hope this helps,
Don
