Favorites Got Moved
Somehow I moved my Favorites and they are now residing under my users name
between 'Downloads' and 'Links'. Where should they reside? How do I get them
back where they should be? Thanks.

That's where they should be.

That depends on your OS which you have neglected to disclose.
For XP it would be %USERPROFILE%\Favorites

> How do I get them back where they should be?

Simplest way is to drag the folder back (with a drag-move
e.g. if it is on the same volume press Shift- while you are dragging).

Note: a copy does not change the registry value which is the second
thing that doing the drag-move does.

Re: Favorites Got Moved
Thank you Robert for your prompt reply. I was a little frustrated, to put it
mildly, when I wrote the post and obviously left out the details of what I
was running. This morning with a clearer head I figured it all out. I'm
running Vista and finally determined where the files should reside. Your
response about dragging them back was spot on and everything is now as it
should be. I'm backing up the "favs" list and storing it in another location
just in case.
Thanks again for your response.
