Error on Page and Video play failure

On two sites: www.rgj.com and www.cnn.com I receive Error on page messages in
IE 7.0.5730.13. The details of both indicate and undefined element. On the
CCN site it is "Control" is undefined. On RGJ it is "gsl" is undefined.

What is strange is that neither site has a problem when I open them in
FireFoix.

The behavior started this morning, after some automatic updates from MS were
installed.

Anyone else see this behavior?

I have a similar problem. I just changed my personal website. When I display
my website offline, in IE7 OR Firefox, it works fine. When I display it
online, it works fine in Firefox, but in IE7, every link designed to play an
audio or video in Quicktime brings up the message "error on page" - The
expanded details state "missing object".

I have a Quicktime plugin enabled in both browsers.

This very likely means that others calling up my website have problems.

Nope, both websites opened free of errors on my copy of IE 7 on Windows
XP SP 3.
