IE8 Beta 2 & Windows Live One Care Safety Scanner Issue

After installing IE8 Beta 2 Live Care Safety Scanner no longer functions. I
am running Vista Ultimate 64 bit which was installed by an upgrade disc, BFG
680I motherboard, 2.4 GHZ Intel Quad Core, 4 gig DDR2-800 and 2 Western
Digital 320 gig Sata II hard drives with the operating system in A striped
raid configuration. Windows Live One Care Safety Scanner functioned properly
when IE7 was installed except for the fact that Roxio 10 would no longer
function after the registry cleaner did it,s thing.

Uninstall the beta and wait until Internet Explorer 8 is released.

Visit the group that discusses the beta version. This group discusses
the released versions of Internet Explorer. To use Microsoft's
webnews-for-dummies interface (which demands that scripting be enabled)
to visit the Internet Explorer beta group, go to:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities...xplorer. beta

A much better solution is to use a newsreader (e.g., Outlook Express,
Thunderbird, Forte Agent, 40tude Dialog, XanaNews, Xnews). If you do
not have or do not want to use your own NNTP (Network News Transfer
Protocol) server, connect your newsreader to:

msnews.microsoft.com

Then go visit the Internet Explorer *BETA* group at:

microsoft.public.internetexplorer.beta

1. Try Compatibility Mode.

2. IE Beta Public Newsgroup Support: microsoft.public.internetexplorer.beta
