Can't Add Favorites to IE7

When I try to add a favorite I get the following error.

"Unable to create 'NAME OF FAVORITE':

No Such interface supported"

It creates two files, none of which actually work though.

One is the name of the page, the other is the actual wed address with out
the http://.

Please state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; Vista SP1) when
