IExplorer 7 with windows XP home version SP3 hang up after 10 minu
I have had the same problem and noted the built in self diagnostic for page
cannot be displayed error says that FTP, HTTPS have active connections but
HTTP is
non-functional.

I tryied accessing a web site that uses HTTPS with the browser and sure enough
it still works for HTTPS based web sites! but not HTTP sites.

After a reboot you can then access HTTP sites for a while but eventually in
several minutes access will be lost for HTTP with FTP and HTTPS sites still
workable!

May be this observation may help Microsoft figure out were the problem is
comming from.
