ie8

when I installed IE8, some sites in favourites folderno longer show graphics,
no listing found for IE8 in unistall list, so can no longer use selected
favourite site as cannot uninstall to return to IE7. Have tried to run site
in the compatability mode and still not getting graphics to show.

You installed a "beta" version of IE8. There is no assurance that IE8 beta
operates correctly. In fact, the entire purpose of "beta" software is to
find which operations still do not work right.
And, perhaps, you found one (or more).
