problems after streets & trips 08 w/gps install

web based applicatiaon used by 100 detectives. based on PHO Version 5.1.4 and
using server API Apache 2.0.58 Handler. working fine before Streets and Trips
install. application is for monitoring and recording murder suspect interview
rooms. after S&T install, when you go to this web app, get logged in and then
try to open the monitor.php program to watch or record an interview, the
window that normally would show the room view from the camera installed there
is now a small box icon with a red X in it. no viewing or recording or
playbacks of previous recordings can be done anymore.

all active X security has been either enabled or set to prompt as needed.

ideas?
