IE7 drop down box and back button

Ever since I down loaded IE7 I have the following problems, when clicking on
the back arrow, it doesn't go back to the previous page but to the one before
that or even before that. Also when clicking on any drop down box, it
doesn't hold it open to click on an item, or it flickers until you continue
to click on it and then it works. Any suggestions or should I uninstall?

1. A browser add-on might be causing these problems.
