IE7 - Firefox Problem
I am running XP SP3 and IE7 and I also use Firefox. When I start IE7 it
comes up, but when I go to another page it always starts up in Firefox. How
can I stop this from happening. I have set IE7 to my default, but it still
changes to Firefox.

Re: IE7 - Firefox Problem
Software doesn't give up that easy. It often needs a /whack/ with a mallet.

Start IE and set it /not/ to be the default browser. Close IE and do the
same with FF. Restart FF and when it asks to be the default browser,
tell it 'no' and tell it not to ask you again. Now close FF and start
IE. When it asks you to be the default browser, tell it 'yes' and tell
it not to ask you again.

Now go to Start > Set Program Access and Defaults and check that your
preferences have been recorded.
