Problem With Embedded Video In IE7

I just started blogging and when I embed video all that comes up is a
white box. I downloaded Firefox and that works, but I'm concerned
about the people visiting my site not being able to see the content.

Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Difficult to say what your problem might be without some additional
information.

Are the HTML file(s) you refer to stored on a local machine or uploaded to
the Web?
If the HTML file(s) you refer to are on the Web, provide us with a publicly
accessible link to the page for testing.
