Some link buttons on web sites do not work

Recently on my banking web site and a few other web sites, I am unable to
click on link buttons to direct me to another part of the web site. For
example, I may be filling out a form and there may be a "complete" button to
submit my information and the button does not work. I can click on all
"regular" links. I thought maybe I didn't have the latest updates to IE7 so
yesterday I downloaded updates. However, it did not fix the problem. I have
also played with my pop-up blocker settings that that did not fix the issues.
Any ideas?
