1/ Click the Start Button
2/ Click Control Panel
3/ In Control panel, Click Programs and Features Icon
4/ When the Programs and Features window opens look at the left hand pane
marked 'tasks'
5/ Click on 'view installed updates'
6/ In the next window a list of update will appear
7/ Scroll down to the 'Microsoft Windows' updates
8/ You should see IE 8.0 in this list
9/ Click on IE 8.0 option to uninstall it.
10 You will need to restart your PC for the uninstall to take effect
11/ When your PC reboots IE 8.0 will be replaced with IE 7.0
