Error while running http://localhost

While I am giving the explorer http://localhost the message
page cannot be found found' is coming. I published on program in localhost
and I want to execute but unfortunatly the localhost is not working. Please
how I will get a solution for this.

The "My Computer" zone is combined with "localhost", so maybe your
permissions for "My Computer" are set too high. Check under "Internet
Properties|Advanced" any settings that apply to "My Computer". It would be
helpful for you to describe what you are trying to do that is causing the
problem.
