Internet explorer 7

Hi all-hope someone can help. For the past couple of weeks when I try to use
IE7 I get redirected to this "http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=74005".
I can not change this or modify it. All I get after I get to this address is
error HTTP 404 not found. Additionally, I can't open e-mail attachments from
outlook express. When I try I get an e-mail hyperlink to open I get a message
that includes the 404 not found plus Apache/2.0.52 (centOS) server at"what
ever site I try to contact to.com" port 80. I have run all antivirus
programs, scrubbed for spyware, maleware etc. I have even tried to update IE
but refuses to take updates. I have not yet tried to uninstall then reinstall
IE was told this is a bad move. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
