What's with New Google Toolbar and IE7?
I recently installed the new Google Toolbar (Beta 5). The toolbar installed,
but when I closed and reopened IE7 it disappears! It's still listed as a
toolbar option in IE, but checking it doesn't bring it back. I'm surprised
that Google would direct users to a Beta version in the first place, but
that's exactly what they do! If you search for Google Toolbar it sends you
right to the Beta version. I had to do a system restore to get the old
toolbar and correct configuration. I can't seem to
get any info from Google, but this Beta version seems quite buggy. Best
avoid it.
