My Mcafee wouldn't run and Mcafee said to remove IE8 because they were not
compatable. Once I removed IE8, IE7 was automatically back but it runs so
slow its unbearable. What are some options?
Hi,
1. With the warning that a reset will delete autocomplete data, such as
passwords and you will have to reinstall browser add-ons, work through this
article:
936213- How to optimize or reset Internet Explorer 7: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936213/en-us
2. A browser add-on could be slowing down IE7. Various McAfee features are
not above suspicion.
For troubleshooting information see:
928426- Internet Explorer 7 may exit immediately when it includes an add-on http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928426
