IE 7.0.5730.13 on XP SP2 vs 7.0.6000.16757 on VistaBusiness 32 SP1
Unfortunately IE absolutely sucks, as you all know! While looking for causes to a css issue in a website I am working on I went to the Microsoft website to find out what versions of IE7 are currently available. The Microsoft site's footer broke in 7.0.5730.13 on XP but after re-aligning itself it looked OK in IE 7.0.6000.16757 on Vista (at first it was aligned left then came good). As if programmers don't have enough to worry about without these sorts of version issues. Obviously it's hurting Microsoft's web developers as well and they still can't just get it right. Sorry I'm no help to your question, just wanted to whinge to some people who are having similar difficulty's.

Footer? Which page? Footer on above page does seem
wider than necessary and caused horizontal scrollbar...
In fact, I suspect it may be the header more than the footer
which is forcing that. ; )
