Virus program sold or referred to by IE7

I an being besiged by an IE7 pop up that is trying to sell me one of many
virus protection programs. I am about ready to delete IE7 from my puter as I
have my own virus program "PC Tools Spyware Doctor". I have placed all of
your virus program offers in a "do not open" stage, but they still pop up and
run me crazy.

Any suggestion on how I can fix this program without having to clean and
redownload all of mt programs? I am runnuing Windows XP

Run a thorough scan by doing the following steps:
1... First, try to clean up your caches, Internet files and delete cookies
by doing this:
Click Start >> Control Panel >> Double click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options.
On the IE properties windows you will see these Tabs:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs |
Advanced
Under General Tab clear your History, Internet Files and Cookies.
Then click on Advanced tab and scroll down to under the Browsing Option:
[&] Browsing
[ ] Enable Third-Party browser extensions (Req Rest) uncheck this box.
Then click on Programs Tab and click Manage Add-Ons and Disable all non
Verified Add-Ons (You should Renable them later one-by-one and see the
culprit and update it or remove it.

Nothing to do with IE7....IE7 is not a vendor of anti-virus programs. You
have malware on your computer.
