Help with getting rid of address bar in IE7 and IE8
I don't use address bar or the default search box and would like to know how
to get rid of that whole top bar. I fit everything I need in one "bar" and am
a bit annoyed with the address/search bar taking up more screen space. In IE6
this was optional.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

Re: Help with getting rid of address bar in IE7 and IE8
Hi,
You cannot eliminate the Address Bar in IE7 (or IE8 Beta.)

There are some customizations available for the IE7 toolbar.
First see: www.enhanceie.com > Tweaks

Then:
Quero toolbar http://www.quero.at/
IE7 Pro http://www.ie7pro.com/
http://www.iecustomizer.com/

Browser shells (overlays) which use the IE engine:
Maxthon browser http://www.maxthon.com/
Avant browser http://www.avantbrowser.com/

Hope this helps,
Don
