Hi experts, I hope you can help.
I am using IE7 on Windows Vista Home Premium with all the updates.
My problem is this:
Nearly every web site I go to, I get that little yellow exclamation point
icon in the bottom-left of my IE browser. Generally, the error code is 0 and
it complains about something in the syntax or code/script of a page. Let's
face it, most every web site out there now is running some sort of script.
But, I go to very common pages (ebay, my horde email, common news-blog sites,
etc). So, what happens is I get that exclamation point icon error and then IE
won't finish loading (or won't completely load) the web page.
Another issue I have is when I go to my own secure pages like my mail (ie:
https://mail.myowndomainsite.com) and IE always directs me FIRST to that
stupid page that says "Not recommended you go to this page). This has got to
go!
I have gone through all my help files, changed IE settings
(tools>options>etc) back and forth and nothing has made an affect. I want
this thing gone and just let my pages load. I don't want IE/Microsoft
constantly telling me about these errors or trying to stop me from seeing my
pages. I am at a loss of where to turn this off.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
avi
