Opening a link in a new window opens the page in both windows

When using some sites when I open a popup window (e.g. a profile in a chat
site) and then click on a link in that window, IE opens a new window to
display page but also opens the same page in the original popup window

This is probably being caused by a browser add-on.

Always state your IE version and your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3;
Vista SP1) when posting to this newsgroup, please.

I have exactly the same issue. www.autotrader.co.uk, topgear.com and
other sites. I am using IE7, IE8 Beta 2, on both XP Pro and Vista Home
Premium

Anyone got any updates on this? Any ideas which add-on?
